Jim Beam Devil’s Cut is a bourbon whiskey produced by Jim Beam 12, known for its unique aging process that involves extracting “the devil’s cut” from the barrels. Jim Beam Devil’s Cut starts with the regular Jim Beam bourbon and goes through an additional step.

After the bourbon is emptied from the barrels, the barrels are opened, and a small amount of liquid that is trapped inside the wood is extracted. This liquid, known as the “devil’s cut,” is then blended back with extra-aged Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey to create Jim Beam Devil’s Cut. The process is said to give the whiskey a richer and more intense flavor profile.
