Aviation American Gin
Aviation American Gin is a brand of gin that was first produced in 2006 by founders Christian Krogstad and Ryan Magarian in Portland, Oregon. It is referred to as an “American dry gin” and is produced by House Spirits Distillery. The gin is known for its smooth and balanced flavor profile, with subtle juniper notes. Aviation American Gin is made using a proprietary maceration recipe that includes botanicals such as cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, juniper, and two kinds of orange peel.
The botanicals are suspended in a neutral grain spirit for 18 hours in macerating tanks before being distilled. The gin is widely distributed in the United States and 15 other countries, including Canada, Spain, the UK, Ireland, France, Russia, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Australia.
